this site collects weird and wonderful aircraft pictures and stories found both on the web, and in print.

this is purely a personal project - I make no money from this, I’m just a curator and an occasional commentator. I don’t work in the aerospace industry, and am not really active on any internet forums

in terms of text and descriptions, online sources are usually accurate - I will sometimes amend something here and there based on my knowledge and that of others

all images should be considered as a shortcut to the original image - i.e the source where I found it. there are no images on here greater than 500-pixels in width. sometimes images on here will be a smaller part of a bigger image - for purposes of detail/clarity etc.

most images have tags, which you can see on the left. tags are constantly being tweaked and updated - especially the decades.

if something is incorrect, if you do not want your photo here, if I have not credited you, if you have any suggestions etc - please let me know.
